Woolly Lamb Yarn Shop

Welcome to the Yarn Shop!!

New Yarn!

Joy Plymouth

Finally!! It's here!

We have a large selection of Joy Ruffle and Joy Metallic yarn from Plymouth. We have switched to this brand because we can get it!

This is the yarn that makes ruffly scarves, sometimes called potato chip scarves. And, it only takes one skein. So come and get some while the selection is good!

Friday, May 18 and
Saturday, May 19:

WNY Yarn Shop Hop: pick up your passport at the Woolly Lamb. Visit as many of the WNY shops as you can. There will be special sales and giveaways! We will be open 11 to 5 on Friday, and 10 to 5 on Saturday.

Saturday, June 16:

we are excited to host a Button Show, featuring the beautiful buttons from A Kid'll Eat Ivy Buttons. We have some in the shop now. The show will be from 1 to 4 PM, and will feature bazillions of buttons! They are beautiful, and very affordable.

The Woolly Lamb in beautiful East Aurora, is a fun, friendly, old fashioned yarn shop, where you should be able to find just about everything you're looking for and more.

The staff is knowledgeable and enthusiastic, the atmosphere is relaxed, fun, and very helpful. You'll find lots of samples, books, patterns, and accessories to inspire you!

The inventory is quite large and varied. You'll find carefully selected yarns from all over the world. Go to our Yarn Page to take a closer look.

Visit us at the shop; it's worth the trip. Or if you're looking for friendly service and hard to find yarn, you can also order yarn by phone.

These are difficult financial times for all of us. We need to consider our purchases very carefully. On the bright side, spring is here to stay, and getting out is easy.

Supporting your local businesses is important, and in your own best self-interest. Your LYS (Local Yarn Shop), The Woolly Lamb, is the best place to see and feel all of the beautiful yarns “in person”. On-Line shopping doesn’t do it. You can come in any time that we are open, and ask questions, and/or get help. Your computer can’t do that. We even help you when you are stuck on a pattern you bought on-line, with yarn you bought somewhere else! You can get individual attention, for as long as you need it. The big box stores and craft stores cannot provide that. You can come in and just “hang out” and knit, or chat, as so many of you do. Now, more than ever, we need your support, as we all work through these difficult times. Thank you for your loyalty. It ensures that we will be here the next time you need us.
